Paying for Services

The table below lists the transactions processed by the Central Cashier.  Check and cash payments are accepted for these services at our windows during business hours.  You may also request certain services, such as transcript processing, through the mail by sending a check or money order with written instructions to our officeNever send cash via the mail.

The transactions denoted by a red asterisk (*) involve two steps, as follows:

  1. Submit your payment to the Central Cashier.  When paying in person, always check your receipt to make sure that your payment has been processed as you intended.  Any error must be directed to the Cashier before the close of business that day.  If you submit your payment through a drop box, or in the mail, you will not receive a receipt.
  2. Submit the form or card to the Registrar's Office, or to the Office of Graduate Studies, as directed on the document.  If you are paying for a transaction by mail, your form or card will be forwarded to the appropriate office by our staff.  Be sure to keep any student copy of the paperwork for your records.  Student copies will not be returned to you by mail.
Important Note:  Your two-step* transaction is not complete until both steps have been concluded.
You are responsible for verifying that your study list, transcript, or ZOTAccount has been updated as you intended.

Important Note:  The charge for an official transcript increased to $10.00 per copy on July 1, 2006.
Students may obtain free copies of their unofficial transcript by logging in to Student Access or by presenting a photo ID at the Registrar's Office.

All prices are in U.S. dollars, and are subject to change without notice.  Make checks and money orders payable to U.C. Regents.
