Cancellation/Withdrawal Schedule of Refunds:

Refunds are determined by the effective date of the cancellation or withdrawal and are based on calendar days, beginning with the first day of the quarter.  For more information, see Expenses and Fees in the UCI General Catalogue and scroll down to Fee Refunds near the bottom of the page.

For continuing students, a $10 service charge is withheld from cancellation refunds and from 100 per cent withdrawal refunds.

Student Health Insurance fees are refundable only when the Cancellation/Withdrawal process is completed before the first official day of the quarter. Students who withdraw on the first day of the quarter and thereafter will remain covered under the insurance plan for the rest of the quarter.

Fee refunds for PACE plan participants are first applied to clear outstanding PACE balances, with the student receiving the remainder. Financial aid recipients who plan to withdraw should discuss refunds/repayments with their financial aid counselor. Students who do not plan to attend for the quarter and whose fees have been paid with financial aid, must withdraw as stated above.
